Ever Feel Like The Minority?

As I prepare to head out for yet another road trip, this one has left me with a feeling that for a good while I was unable to pinpoint.
I’m so grateful for the twists and turns my life and career have taken me. I’ve exercised muscles I probably would never used under my own guise. I’m also often amazed at the skill sets He has seen fit to develop within me.
However this time, for the first time I feel completely ill equipped to make a difference. For the first time I feel like being an African American woman attempting to meld with the world’s techies in a technology field that is morphing by the moment may be more than I can handle. When I add to that being a credible voice to my church community that is at varying places of the fence when it comes to actively integrating technology into certain aspects of Worship, I feel further crippled.
But God! He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NASB)
And so, I go forth not under my strength and intellect, but through His. Pray for us and hope to see you all soon!! In the words of my pastor; We Got This!!
